Prosper Program: Work Initiatives
Recovery Friendly Workplaces (RFWs): Our program advocates for Recovery Friendly Workplaces (RFWs), nurturing safe environments, and advancing prevention and recovery efforts within local communities. Through our initiative, we provide addiction education, support employee retention, and offer tailored assistance via Recovery Friendly Advisors (RFAs) to interested companies at no cost.
Clothes the Deal Image Management Workshop: Participants in our Image Management Workshops elevate their self-esteem and refine their professional appearance for both employment and personal interactions. These interactive sessions delve into personal image impact, enhancing positive impressions during interviews. Clothing assistance is readily accessible for participants facing extended unemployment.
Employing Individuals in Recovery: We recognize individuals in recovery as valuable workforce assets. Collaborations with local treatment providers and social service organizations bolster support for employees in recovery. Strategies such as Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and second-chance hiring protocols cultivate recovery-ready workplaces.
Preparing for a New Way of Life Workshop: Every individual possesses the transformative power within. Our workshop guides participants towards embracing a new way of life, emphasizing their inherent value and potential.
Creating Engaged Values Employees Workshop: Public resources are optimally directed towards transformative opportunities, not punitive measures. Formerly incarcerated individuals lead efforts to reintegrate into the workforce, fostering community and connection. Through a peer-led group, individuals with shared experiences find encouragement and support, collectively shaping a value-based process that empowers self-sufficiency.
